For the past 54 years, Sackets Harbor's Can-Am Festival centers on the waterfront to celebrate Canadian-American heritage. On the Battlefield historic site's lawn, the dramatic arrival and landing of US army helicopters from Fort Drum always draws a crowd. Visit the soldiers and climb into the pilot's cockpit seat. Stay until the helicopters take off to get the full dramatic experience of these powerful rotorcraft.
