Join us for a talk by Matthew Thorenz on the Continental Army soldiers of African descent encamped at New Windsor during the winter of 1782-83. Now the Local History & Government Documents Librarian at the Newburgh Free Library, Matthew researched the contributions these soldiers made while serving as the Museum Educator at New Windsor Cantonment State Historic Site.
