“We’ll be Free": Molly Houses, Community, & Homosexuality in the 18th c. English Colonial World

Join us for a talk by Dr. Megan Rhodes Victor of Queens College on colonial molly houses. Under the guise of inns and taverns, they were a place where gay men and cross-dressing individuals found community and a safe space to socialize. The talk is free and open to the public.
