Animal Tracking for Beginners

Join a park educator to learn the basics of animal tracking and how to investigate the lives of animals based on the clues they leave behind.  Then try out your new skills on a short walk through the park.  All ages and abilities welcome!

Little Explorers - Stars

Point Au Roche State Park
Stories, songs, and art projects from 10-10:30, then stay for some outdoor playtime! This program is most appropriate for ages 0-5, but all ages are always welcome! The best thing about long, cold nights is definitely staying cozy under a blanket - but the second-best thing is the stars! This week we will learn about the stars that make our nights so bright!

Winter Walk and Bonfire

Point Au Roche State Park
Join a park naturalist for a guided hike to explore the trails of the park in the winter!  This hike will be easy-paced and about 2 miles.  Then join us afterwards for a bonfire and s'mores!  All ages are welcome!  If trails conditions require snowshoes, we have a limited number to loan out.  Snowshoe reservations suggested – call 518-563-0369.
