Notice of Wildlife Management Action

New York State Parks, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA-APHIS Wildlife Services) and the NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation, will be using firearms for the lethal control of Double-crested Cormorants in the Niagara Gorge near the Cave of the Winds. This has been identified as the most effective method of removal and the only viable option to mitigate further environmental damage.
