Established within the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, the State Council of Parks consists of the Commissioner of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, the Commissioner of Environmental Conservation, the Chairman of the State Board of Historic Preservation, and the chairs of the eleven regional parks commissions.
Council Chair Lucy Waletzky will preside over the meeting.
Saratoga Spa State Park: Northway (I-87) to Exit 13N (Route 9). Take Route 9 north 3 miles to the 4th traffic signal. Turn left at the main entrance to the Saratoga Spa State Park onto the Avenue of the Pines. Approximately 1 mile down the Avenue of the Pines, turn left and follow signs to Roosevelt Drive/Administration Building. Parking lot on left.
