Dyes From Nature with Alice Miner Museum

Come learn about the wealth of natural dyestuffs found in field and forest by doing some dyeing right here in the park! We will talk about dye techniques, materials and forest sources for dyes, build our own dyebath drawn from the woods around us, and produce yarn and fabric samples to take home. All experience levels welcome. Most appropriate for adults and interested older children and teens.
