Field Guide Friday: Historical High Point Halloween Hike at Sam’s Point

Join Becca Howe-Parisio, Environmental Educator, on a six-mile, moderate adventure, to discover what historical landmarks we have in the Park Preserve, with a focus on the Berry Picker history. Bring any field guide or historical guide you may have, and we will use it to find what we see. Field Guide Friday is a monthly program, focusing on different topics as the seasons change. This program is suited for anyone who is old enough to read and is interested in learning how to use a book to identify plants, insects, and more. Participants must bring water and snacks and wear appropriate hiking shoes. Halloween costumes are encouraged, but participants must be able to hike in them. Meet at the Sam's Point Visitor Center. Pre-registration is required by signing up via Eventbrite.
