No registration required. Join us for a free movie on Long Pond beach, weather permitting. Check out our 16' big screen under Grafton's big sky! The movie is kid-friendly and PG-rated so bring the whole family. Be sure to bring a blanket. No charge, no registration. Movie will start after dusk around 9pm.

Birds Don't Know What Windows Are

We Love our birds, even if they can't figure out what glass is! Sometimes birds will accidentally fly into windows, which will often result in injury. Help us work towards bird-proofing our facility with your art! Come into the welcome center any time on Saturday and pay $4.00 to hang out with our Environmental Educator, Cai, as they explain the psychology behind why this happens and what you can do at home to prevent this. While you learn, you will get to color a stained glass sticker that we will display on our window to prevent any confusion with the bird in the future! bring your kids, hang out, and color all while learning about what makes birds tick! No registration is needed.

Join us to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride month! The outdoors are for everybody to enjoy and diversity is necessary both for a thriving ecosystem and a thriving community! Join an educator on a guided hike around the park to collect natural materials that make up the rainbow. We'll then make these materials into a pride-themed craft. Calling all night owls! The Albany Area Amateur Astronomers will have telescopes to give you a tour of the night sky during this free program held at the Deerfield Pavilion. Enter via the main entrance and follow signs to the program location at Deerfield Pavilion -- first left off the main entrance road. Please drive slowly in the park at night. All ages. Free program. No registration, Following Saturday is the Rain Date.
