Heritage Corridor in Cohoes is truly a Path Through History. This route along
the Hudson River that connects Green Island with Waterford, proceeds through
Cohoes and north to Peebles Island State Park, has many layers of history. The
area was once a Native American riverfront trading post, then a Revolutionary
War route, then home to the Rensselaer and Saratoga Railroad and industry along
the riverfront and is now a developing residential area. Join us as we relive
the history of this mile and a half trail. FREE to the public.
