Peebles Island State Park
Ring in the New Year with a hike around picturesque Peebles Island. We'll hike the 2 miles around the perimeter of the Island, but shorter hikes might be available based on interest. The hikes will discuss the Native American presence on the Island, its significance during the Revolutionary War, and other history of this strategic site. Please dress for the weather and bring cameras and binoculars for a chance to see wildlife. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome. Meet in parking lot.

Come out and enjoy a 2-mile trek around the island at the confluence of the Mohawk and Hudson rivers. All are welcome. You may even catch a glimpse of our local eagles! Please contact friends group via email. Meet outside visitor center.
