The park is a well-preserved natural area for many varieties of plants and wildlife, encompassing 395 acres of mature woods, open meadows and marshland on Tuscarora Bay.

Built in and around a three-mile-long gorge cut into the eastern edge of the Tug Hill Plateau the park offers one of the most spectacular scenic vistas east of the Rocky Mountains.

Located on the eastern shore of Oneida Lake the park is a picnicker's and camper's delight. Shaded picnic areas and the campground boast a view of the park's scenic beach.

Situated along the Helderberg Escarpment the park is home too one of the richest fossil-bearing formations in the world and provides marvelous mountain and valley views.

Located in Taconic State Park, Copake Falls is known for its rustic camping experience. The oldest park in the region offers many activities for campers and day visitors to enjoy.

Hilly woodlands, a deep gorge with rugged cliffs, three waterfalls and fascinating rock formations comprise the park offering camping, hiking and swimming in a stream-fed pool.

Overlooking a bluff on Lake Ontario the park offers Great Lakes swimming, fishing and spectacular sunsets. Boat launch sites as well as camping facilities are also available.

A 55-acre Arctic Lake located amidst rolling, wooded hills has a sand beach for swimmers, and great fishing for anglers. Camping is available as is a full service vacation rental.

Featuring the picturesque Mine Kill Falls in the scenic Schoharie Valley, Mine Kill State Park overlooks the NY Power Authority's Blenheim-Gilboa Pumped Storage Power Project.

Located just outside the Adirondack Park along the Salmon River's course toward Lake Champlain, the park has a wilderness atmosphere and offers swimming in man-made Davis Pond.

Long Point, which juts peninsula-like into Lake Chautauqua, is one of the moraines left long ago by a retreating glacier and features a thickly-wooded marina and day-use area.

The park offers outstanding panoramic views of Lake Ontario and surrounding farms and fruit orchards. Camping, hiking, fishing, and picnicking bring thousands to Lakeside Beach.

Man-made Lake Welch, boasting a half-mile-long sandy beach in the wooded hills of the Ramapo Mountains, became the large lake that it is today when a dam was completed in 1942.

Located next to Lake Taghkanic in the rolling hills and lush forests of Columbia County, the park offers activities including swimming, hiking, fishing, boating and camping.

High bluffs overlooking Lake Erie provide a breathtaking view. Enjoy the scenic camping, swimming, and hiking opportunities as well as the excellent view of migrating birds.

Fields, woodlands and ponds provide the landscape for the wide variety of recreation. Fishing, hiking, and frisbee disc golf are just some of the activities offered by the park.

Nestled among the Adirondack foothills on the picturesque Raquette River the park offers hilly and heavily-wooded terrain dotted with spacious campsites and a sandy beach.

The Recreation Area provides picnic tables, hiking, cross-country skiing and biking trails. Deer hunting is permitted in season. Small game hunting is not permitted at any time.

Clear water, sandy beaches and tent and trailer campsites entice thousands of visitors each year. 

Located on the forested mountain ridge between the Taconic and Hudson Valleys, the park includes five ponds and 2,357 acres featuring hiking, fishing, swimming, and boating.

Located on the scenic shore of Lake Ontario the park is home to The Thirty Mile Lighthouse. The park offers boating, fishing, hiking, and walking tours of the lighthouse.

Featuring a lake and three ponds in wooded, hilly terrain at the foothills of the Catskills the park offers swimming, camping, and hiking among their variety of outdoor activities.

Fillmore Glen is an oasis of cool, dense woods crowding into a long, narrow gorge. Explore its unique geological formations, five waterfalls, and a botanically rich glen.

Found on Lake Ontario the park boasts one of the finest public lakefronts in upstate New York. Towering shoreline bluffs, sandy beaches and hilly woodlands cover this scenic park.

Evangola State Park features a beautiful arc-shaped shoreline and natural sand beach on Lake Erie. The park also offers picnic facilities, 80 campsites, and playing fields.

Located on a peninsula extending into Delta Reservoir visitors can enjoy the many picnic areas, or hiking and nature trails. Boating, fishing, and camping are also available.

Darien Lake's varied terrain includes hills, woodlands, ravines, streams and Harlow Lake. The park features campsites as well as a rustic bridge over a channel to Picnic Island.

Chimney Bluffs features the most dramatic landscape on the Lake Ontario shore. Experience the massive earthen spires while enjoying the park's lakeshore nature trails.

Cherry Plain is located on Black River Pond and offers a variety of outdoor recreation activities. Explore the camping area along with hiking and biking trails.

Known as "a camper's paradise", Bowman Lake is comprised of scenic forests housing a multi-season trail system as well as its namesake lake, perfect for swimming and sunbathing.    No Ice fishing is permitted.

This scenic park is blanketed by a forest of hardwoods intermixed with smaller areas of conifer plantation. The hilltop location provides expansive views to the south and west.

Located at the south end of Grand Island the park boasts a wide range of outdoor activities.  Enjoy the park's 18-hole golf course, swimming and boating facilities, or trail systems.

The Red House Area is known for the historic tudor-style Administration Building as well as Red House Lake, offering multi-season outdoor activities.

The Quaker area is known for its two lakes and wonderful camping experiences. It offers swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking, as well as hiking trails and playing fields.
